This year's Fair dates are: Friday, August 8 - Saturday, August 16, 2008 With so many options over the summer and gas prices soaring, how do you choose events that make everybody in the family happy? At the Prince William County Fair, we make it easy! With so many exciting attractions all in one place, everyone will love it! Here's how the 59th Annual Fair is making "the pieces all come together:" Check out our great DAILY ATTRACTIONS for young and old alike starting with this year's special attraction, Sea Lion Splash! And why only be a spectator when you can also get involved? The kids, big and little, can have hands-on fun with Middle Earth Studios story-telling, pony rides, in our Children's Barn and with the Petting Zoo. See work made by local talent in our Home Arts Buildings and learn about animals and agriculture in our Livestock Barns! If you like the big events, check out our GRANDSTAND SHOWS . We're offering classics like the Truck & Tractor Pull, Demolition Derby and the Dave Martin Rodeo. And be sure not to miss this year's special concert, "An Evening with Corbin Bleu." Or, make your involvement personal by entering one of our great COMPETITIONS . If you like to grow, bake, or make, our HOME ARTS division has thousands of classes for you and your kids. For young animal-lovers we offer two separate PET SHOWS ! And we know your baby is the cutest in the world, come show him or her off in our BABY CONTEST . Young writers can enter our GREATEST GRANDPARENTS COMPETITION and prove why their grandmother or grandfather is the best! If you love to bake with chocolate, the HERSHEY'S COCOA CLASSIC is for you (and even if you don't, come out and enjoy the bake sale afterwards)! And still there's more! Every year the Deggeller Attractions Midway only gets better and there's also shopping, demonstrations, and, of course, that great fair food!
