If you are pre-registering: send one copy to the fair and keep the other copy to bring with you on entry day: Thursday, August 12 and/or Tuesday August 17, 2010.
If you are registering at the fair: bring both copies with you on entry day: Thursday, August 12 and/or Tuesday August 17, 2010. One copy you will turn in at the registration booth and one you will take with you to the each department as you enter your items.
Registration & Entry Process
Filling Out a Registration Form:
Department = one or two digit number
Section = letter
Class = three, four, or five digit number
Description
= the exact (or
closely abbreviated) description listed in the catalog
Exhibit
= check “1st”
or “2nd.”If you are not sure
which to check, see the explanation on the registration form.

Pre-registration:
Pre-registration
is not required.
If you choose to pre-register, mail
your form to:

Your pre-registration form must be postmarked
no later than Friday, July 31, 2009.
Make
sure that you keep a copy
of your form: you will need this when you enter your item(s).
If
it’s not required, why should I pre-register?
It’s
faster for you: you can skip certain steps during the entry process.
It’s
more efficient for us: entering information into our system early expedites our
entire process – meaning that the fair runs smoothly and your premiums are
ready earlier!
Entry Day Registration:
Items not pre-registered may be
registered on site the same day you enter them, see Entry & Removal Dates on the Home Arts page.
Registration Forms may be filled out
at the Fair however, it will be much
easier to have your form(s) completed before you arrive.
Forms will be provided if you do not
have any.
Entry Process:
Upon arriving at the Fairgrounds, find
a Registration Booth at one of the main entrances to the Home Arts Aluminum or
Block Buildings, see Fairgrounds Map.
Give your completed form to the booth
attendant and he or she will punch it, keep the white copy, and return the
additional copy to you for use in entering your item(s).
Take your item(s) to the appropriate
Department(s).Your exhibits will be
tagged and a claim check given to you.Keep this ticket: it is required to
retrieve your items, see Entry & Removal

After
entering, Exhibitor Passes may be purchased in the front of the Block Home Arts
Building, see General Rules.
